AVSIMULATION was created in 2017, owned by OKTAL and Renault. Our customers are automakers, equipment manufacturers and universities. Bay Zoltán Nonprofit Ltd. (BZN) was established in 1992, and today it is Hungary’s largest and most successful non-profit institution for applied research. BZN’s mission is to support Hungarian SMEs with development and innovation services and by offering technology transfer opportunities. BZN gained experiences on facilitating the research and innovation results reaching the market. BZN offers scientific and technical solutions, technology upscaling and transfer services to its partners.
RDI activities include a range of development services on engineering; smart systems; VR&AR development; etc. BZN has competence in modelling, analysing and development of production system workflows. This experience is based on several production-related projects developed for companies.
Our latest piece of infrastructure, a state-of-art DiL Simulator Laboratory was established in Q3 2022 and it is accessible to our clients from divers automotive-related sectors. This toolchain can be used in various areas in simulation from racing to vehicle dynamics development. We need to highlight also, the simulator’s key task is to support AD autonomous driving and ADAS assisted driving developments, implementing driving scenarios, connections to hardware and software solutions.

The Gustave EIFFEL University was born out of the merger of Université Paris-Est Marne-la-Vallée and IFSTTAR, the Institute for European Research on Cities and Regions, Transport and Civil Engineering. It includes a school of architecture, EAV&T, and three engineering schools, EIVP, ENSG Géomatique and ESIEE Paris. This year AB Dynamics have entered the vehicle driving simulator market with the development of the Advanced Vehicle Dynamics Simulator, or aVDS. This is a compact simulator with class leading excursion, response and low latency.
The aVDS incorporates the Williams Advanced Engineering motion platform and delivers high definition content from rFpro via a high specification audio and vision system. By carefully synchronising the rFpro content with the high response motion platform, the aVDS provides the driver with very low latency vestibular, audio and visual motion cueing, which allows full immersion in the test environment and which provides a totally realistic driving experience.
ASAM e.V. (Association for Standardization of Automation and Measuring Systems) actively promotes standardization within the Automotive Industry. Together with its more than 360 member organizations worldwide, the association develops standards that define protocols, interfaces and data models for tools used for the development and testing of electronic control units (ECUs) and for the validation of the entire vehicle. ASAM standards are applied internationally with the purpose to enable easy integration of tools into existing value chains and to enable a seamless data exchange.
In 2018, the ASAM portfolio was extended by the standards ASAM OpenCRG®, ASAM OpenDRIVE® and ASAM OpenSCENARIO®, constituting the new standardization domain “Simulation”. These so-called “OpenX” standards describe static road networks and dynamic driving scenarios. They are used for driving and traffic simulation and serve to validate highly automated driving systems. Meanwhile, ASAM OSI®, a generic interface that enables simple linking of the many driving simulation frameworks, and ASAM OpenLABEL, the first standard for annotating multi-sensor data and scenarios, complement the Simulation portfolio. Further ideas like ASAM ODD and ASAM OpenXOntology are currently under consideration to be standardized within ASAM.
ASAM has established a very active membership in the area of highly automated driving: Technical experts from ASAM member companies worldwide are working together on the (further) development of the standards mentioned above. This collaboration enables the high quality level and industry-wide acceptance of ASAM standards. ASAM, on the other hand, ensures their independent, long-term development and maintenance in a professional setting.
The Automotive Simulation Center Stuttgart e.V. – asc(s is a non-profit association for know-how carriers in the field of automotive simulation. The company provides its members with the possibility to advance new simulation methods for the virtual vehicle development fast and efficiently – particularly if these place high demands on the computing power and data volume. Being a multiplier, catalyst and accelerator the association can offer its members a wide range of services and activities to gain added value. The asc(s is operator of the ENVITED marketplace (Environment for Virtual Test Drive). The ENVITED marketplace pools and promotes the expertise and networking of players from business and science in the field of virtual driving simulation and connected mobility systems. As an open and international marketplace for research, technology, innovation and communication the project reinforces the future-oriented R&D area for vehicles and mobility concepts at different levels of automation.
