The Driving Simulation Association shares with you the latest signs of the current dynamics and consolidation of the AD/ADAS simulation market.

Applied Intuition, Inc. has acquired recently Mechanical Simulation Corporation, a provider of vehicle dynamics simulation software most commonly known for its flagship product, CarSim.

CarSim is compatible with many comparable tools such as AVSimulation, Carla, Epic Games, Foretellix, monoDrive and Siemens among others. 

This acquisition happens less than a year after the acquisition of monoDrive by NI (press release), the acquisition of Atlatec by Bosch (press release) and the entry of Dassault in AVSimulation’s capital (press article).
